Connectus Interruptus!

I constantly get my connection interrupted, even though I --- and my opponent --- have good connections.  Many times my opponent's clock is ticking, so I think he is still thinking about a move, and then my connection gets interrupted, relogged in, and then it shows that my clock was clicking the whole time!!

I have no control over this, and it is frustrating when trying to play good chess against good opponents.  This happens at all different times of the day:  early morning, noon, afternoon, evening, and late at night, so it cannot be my ISP.

Any thoughts?   Is this just what my life will be as a non-premium member?

I am using Internet Explorer, but I can use firefox, if that will help.

Yes I am sure that will help alot.

Yes use Firefox safari or any other browser except Internet explorer somewhere I read on this site not to use IE.
