Customizable Drop Down Menu

I would like to have a customizable drop down menu for five (or more) areas of the site to which I need quick access.  It looks like there is room between "FUN" and "MY HOME" where this customizable drop down menu could be located.  For example, I might choose to include my favorite group, new unread posts in the forums, opening explorer, live chess, and chess.com TV as the five areas.  With such a feature, every member could create their own menu of favorites. 

There could be a problem with putting another member's profile page as one of the "favorites," as this could lead to accelerated harrassment.  Perhaps that category of page should not be eligible for the customizable menu.
