There were 4 games but you only listed 3 sets of announcers.
Each has their own style and appeal. I agree GM Kraai was strong and liked the
way he followed the action live. GM Friedel and Sharma were good although in Game 3 I couldn't hear clearly due to low volume. IM Pruess and IM Shankland
have witty banter and good chemistry together.
However, I would like a move list posted to the left, as I don't want to switch
back and forth to the official website. Also, I would like to study the current
position much more than alternatives. I appreciate the options but the current position of these games has been incredible.
I've been watching some of the commentary of the world championship match on chess.com/tv, as I'm sure many of you have. So, who have been your favorite commentators so far?
I'll start off. So far, I have to say I prefer Jesse Kraai's analysis. Yeah, I know he admitted to not liking Topalov, but that didn't bother me. His analysis seemed clear and easy to follow, he followed the action live rather than pondering some alternative lines that might have happened if the players had made some other moves, and he interacted with the audience, responding to what was being written in the chat room.
So who's your favorite? Kraai? Friedel and Sharma? Shankland and Pruess?
Or have you found better commentators for the world championship match on another site?
