Mark Messages as Unread

can you please introduce this option?

There's currently a Mark all forum topics as READ link. Would you want to be able mark ALL messages as unread - or only specific ones? Are you referring to messages or posts?

What you can do is: send a message to yourself, reminding you to deal with certain other messages. When you've dealt with them, delete your reminder.

thanks, but it would be simpler if you could just highlight the message as being unread. i don't think it would be that much hassle for chess.com to introduce the option?

The framework for marking as unread is already in place: you can mark individual messages. A MARK AS UNREAD button would need to be added alongside the existing DELETE button.

As with all feature requests, it's a matter of whether the implementation is justified in terms of cost-benefit.

no, there would be no need for another alert, just a way to note which ones you want to reply to later
