I am generally satisfied with chess.com's service. I love the tactics trainer, openings game explorer and of course, playing live chess. But I must say that the chess.com toolbar was a disappointment. At first I was very happy with it including the radio station player. But after that, everything slowed down in my web browser and even other applications. For example, loading pages like youtube went to an incredible slow down to the point where i could not anymore load youtube into my browser. Also, other pages like those from the christian science monitor would not display. Again extremely slow loading to the point of not loading at all, just staring at a blank page. Finally, my own applications like live365 desktop which is another subscription I have for internet radio would not even work. I uninstalled the toolbar, and lo and behold, live365 desktop started working immediately. I will check web browsing again. I have a fairly new computer with windows 7 and latest internet explorer and intel core duo.
Just checked web browsing with internet explorer. And yes, its back to normal and I can load the previous web pages that failed to load, with normal speed now. Just after uninstalling chess.com toolbar and rebooting computer.
