Actually, what you'll see is the rating for turn-based games. If they have played only live chess games, their turn-based rating will remain to reflect 1200, as this is the rating everyone starts out with and unless you play a turn-based game, it'll stay like that forever independent of your live chess ratings.

You seem to have completely misunderstood his point somehow.
This point may have been brought up before, but I feel it is important - whilst simple to put in place.
When you hover your mouse over a player's name, their rating appears, this is their highest rating, however if their only active grades are below 1200 - for example if they only play blitz and turn-base and to a level <1200- then 1200 will show as there grade. I feel this is misleading and could be changed.
