Spammy pop-up

Hello chess.com. I think this is a great website but there are is a thing I would like to give feedback on. 

a)Every time I log into chess.com this big spam pop-up appears. I understand the ads make you money but im afraid to come on the site in case of a virus is downloaded to my computer. MAny will say "well become a paid member". I have neither the money nor the time to enjoy that and I just want to enjoy chess with everyone else. I considered not joining because of these malicious looking ads/popups

That is my main concern about chess.com. Anything the staff could tell me to make me feel more comfortable would be appreciated.

Is it the one with the lion on it?

The pop ups and spammy ads are still plaguing me. please turn them to more safe ads.
