Suggestion for Open Match Lists in Groups

Periodically I go cruising through my groups looking for "open" matches I'd like to sign up for, and fairly frequently I'll click on a match that's still listed in the "Open Matches" section of my group only to discover when I've accessed the match page that the registrant list for my group has already been "locked" and no one else can sign up.

Why not have that little "lock" symbol also appear on the summary list of of "Open Matches" for the group so people can tell at that point which matches are truly still open and which, while not yet started, are already locked for that group and thus can no longer be joined?

It's not exactly a tactic.    I like playing my games in either tournaments or matches.  When my number of ongoing games shrinks to somewhere around 10, I start looking for new matches I can sign up for.  Since I like playing people from countries I haven't played before, the best thing is if I can find an upcoming match against a country team, which pretty much guarantees me an opponent from that country.  If I sign up for a match with a mix of entrants from both countries I've played before and new countries, there's no way to be sure who I'll end up lined across from.  So I "cruise" through the lists of upcoming matches in the groups I belong to, looking for matches with high percentages of entrants from the "right" (new to me)  countries.
