Tournaments

On tournaments that you have to register for you must have a timeout ratio of less than 10% to register. This is infuriating for me since there was a time last year in which i went on vacation and got stuck in Mexico, without internet, for an extra day. This lost me 50 or so games on time, raising my ratio to over 50% at that time. It is still at 30%, even tough i have played a lot more games. I think that the timeout thing should be done differently for tounaments. For example the amount of timeouts in the last month or so cannot exceed some number. Any thoughts?

You currently have 74 timeouts. To lower your timeout ratio to 10% you require 740 completed games. That means 506 more completed games without timing out again. Just like these accounts yours is unlikely ever to be eligible for official tournaments and most member-created tournaments.

i know, the timeout ratio was a good idea- it was just implemented incorrectly.

Yes, there should be a time limit on timeouts. One bad run shouldn't be a life sentence.

MaddFunn_23 has no timeout problem.
