TT rating

Lately I've noticed that TT problems are usually rated approximately 100 points lower than my TT rating which is currently around 1400. It has not always been this way. I dropped from around 1600 yesterday. At that time I was getting problems that were rated anywhere from 50 to 100 point higher than my TT rating. It seems it will be a long time before I see that 1600 rating again: I just solved three TT problems in a row correctly, gaining points each time, and my rating went from 1398 to 1420; however, the next problem I didn't solve correctly and my rating went to 1399. This is why I don't like to have problems rated so much lower than my TT rating: when I solve them correctly, I get a few points; but, when I don't solve them correctly, I lose twice as many points as when I solve them correctly. Do I need to achieve a minimum rating of, say, 1450 before the problems will have a rating that more closely approximates that of my own TT rating?

Hmm, I (and some otheres)  had this same issue a few months ago, then it got fixed. I seem to remember it was some kind of bug.

When you had this happen did you notice many problems which had been attempted only a few (fewer than 100) times?

I cant remember.

I noticed, during the time when the ratings behaved that way, that several times I encountered problems which had been attempted only a few times.
