good idea, art, but how to implement it ?
Weaving Threads Together
I see it as being restricted to staff - to minimise disputes. Simply append the whole threads, one after the other, in the order in which they were created. Transfer the ownership of the thread to a staff member, at the same time.
Or, a staff member creates a new thread, then append the associated threads to it.
that probly would work, an' sure as sugar erik an' kohai is listenative, but summink like that gonna increase their workloads summink rotten, an' I thinks they already has their hands full - probly requires a volunteer, art,.... u seems to have plenny of time on ur hands
u can add http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/turn-based-chess-question to the list =)
Thanks. I don't mind if I do.
If this facility existed, it could have been used to combine these threads ...
Color Favoritism on Chess.com?
Live Chess: People Who Only Play White
Random play makes me go 'thank you, bye'

For these threads artfizz it should come under the heading "For the Cry Babies"
Chess seems to bring out the worst in people.
artfizz, you are such a forum scholar that I have to wonder if you have not at least had the idea of creating your own forum on the internet? I know it would be unique and innovative, and I would go there(if allowed). Have you ever considered it? Just curious

The Internet is my forum - but I wouldn't have time to create a regular blog, I'm too busy doing ...
It would be potentially useful to be able to combine similar threads into a single one, especially where they relate to a current problem. e.g. Games In Progress Count Wrong
games in progress number off
Games in progress
games-in-progres
games-in-progress3
turn-based-chess-question * (Thanks kid_of_chess for spotting this one)
in-progress-is-incorrect * (... and this too)
games-in-progress6
This would make it easier to keep the responses from chess.com in one place and maximise synergy in identifying the issue, who's affected and notifying about the solution.
Similarly, there's a bundle of threads about Login problems.
