1st Place Medal with 0-0-0

I received this medal today. In the tournament, no one played any games. Everyone got first place. I did not think this was possible, but here it is.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Maybe they changed the way medals are rewarded again because I remember when I first joined if a person was tied then they would both receive the higher medal but I've never seen 4 gold given out. That's sweet

In this tournament, only two of us got gold. The other players dropped out. At the beginning. there were four players, only two of which were online. When it started, no one got paired up to play. In the course of the tournament, two players dropped out.

The other members we're offline. But 2 members is too few for a tournament, there needs to be atleast 4 online players, and the offline ones will be dropped out like you said. The thing that makes it weird it why wasn't it cancelled? Because it still had 4 members?

I once played in a tourney where was 4 members, but only 2 of us were online. We played one game and I won it. Cancelled the other 2 rounds and I got 1st place. But I think the system has changed, it was like half years ago.
