In over-the-board games, you gain points when you win.
You may also gain some points by drawing against a higher-rated player.
Accuracy does not matter, only the result and the ELO difference have an impact on the gain/loss of ELO points.
Edit: to gain FIDE ELO points, you need to play in FIDE rated tournament. They have a ELO rating calculator on their website: https://ratings.fide.com/calc.phtml?page=change
