Hi I joined the daily tournament "71st Chess.com Quick Knockouts (Under 1000)" when I was below 1000 elo 1 week ago. It was going to start on Sept 30, 2024.
I've reached an elo above 1000 before the tournament started so I was moved to another tournament. I received the message "You have been automatically moved from 71st Chess.com Quick Knockouts (Under 1000) to 71st Chess.com Quick Knockouts (1001-1200) since your rating has adjusted since you registered."
When the tournament started I was matched against 6 different person. Half of them timed out but I won all the other matches except 2 that's not complete yet.
By winning these games I raised my elo to 1202. So I'm not in the 1001-1200 range anymore.
When going to Play > Tournaments I can see that this tournament is still in my current list.
But when clicking on it I just get an error.
If I visit that url with another browser while not being signed in I can view the page.
I can also see that in the ranking of that tournament i'm #18
So what's going on ? Have I been removed from the tournament while in the middle of it or is this a bug ? I couldn't find anything in the FAQ about this.
No, you have not been removed. That is a server error and may just be a temporary issue.
