That is why I don't trust online chess tournaments that offer money prizes as no guarantee they will pay up if you win a prize by fair play. Over the board tournaments are the best as a lot more chance of getting your prize if you are in the prize money.

I won the Kasparov Arena more than 10 days ago. No prize has been awarded. I have never received any message, never received any email and never received any response from support (contacted them 4 days ago).
Disappointed.
Anyone ever had experience of not getting the prize after winning a tournament fairly?
