Hey all.
Chess.com has been very adamant about vacation not existing in the 2024 daily tournament. However, I noticed that I cannot claim a win against a platinum member, even after he timed out. You can see here, that his time is 1 minute (at the time of posting, at least): https://www.chess.com/game/daily/602944691
I understand that there are different tiers among chess.com users, and I think it makes sense. However, this directly goes against the tournament rules, does it not?
To be clear, I'm not criticizing the user at all, he hasn't done anything (literally ), it's just to let chess.com know that they might have missed this.
That's not vacation. There's no claim option for tournaments, the system automatically handles losses on time
It's possible the process is slow due to the number of players in the event. A very large portion of members time out by in the first round of those events.
