Hi all,

I just want to share that I finally found good chess manager. I would recommend - https://www.swips.eu, it is the best software I tried so far for managing chess tournaments.

Hi, there. I agree with you: I didn't find a best app yet. However, I think it is expensive to pay 20€ for tournament and the basic version is too limited, even for small tournaments (10 people) Any way, I am just looking for a simple and free app for a tournament between friends.

Hi gspnetto, it is much cheaper now, the basic price for month is around 5 euros.

Good Morning Gentlemen,

I would like to introduce you the product I am co-founder, called ChessManager. ChessManager has proved it's quality in Polish Championships in 2015 and 2016 as well as in latest Ukrainian Championships. Also I'm really happy to annouce it will be used in upcoming European Blitz and Rapid Championships in December 2017. It's completly free of charge but we provide some extra paid services like Online Payments, SMS sent directly to players' cell phones with their pairings, etc. Interested? You can give it a try here: https://admin.chessmanager.com

Has anyone used this for USCF?

Tornelo

Tornelo.com is a full pairing program and tournament management software, it includes an online games server to give TD's and Arbiters more control over their games. Tornelo's fair play system was recently endorsed by US Chess so you can run online rated events on the platform.

A simple solution to generate pairings and also calculate final ELO after each turn for the players: https://arlindosilvaneto.github.io/chess-swiss/

PUKRA

https://vesus.org/ is the best for tournaments management. It is completely free!

Take a look at ChessRegister.com. Easy to use. Very small fee only when collecting event registration fee using either Stripe or PayPal. www.chessregister.com

We have been running the Media Chess Club using Chess Nut It is completely free for pairings/event mgmt (they take a small fee if you raise money for events through the
platform). It also creates all of the tournament files required by the USCF for ratings. They are responsive to feedback and are improving the tool based what the community needs. It's been a huge help for our club as we didn't love SwissSys (and didn't want to pay for licenses for all of our TDs). Also, having the club info centralized has helped with our member list and tracking club dues. Check them out
