ONLINE DAILY TOURNAMENTS ARE NOT FAIR FROM THE START.

To participate in any rating restricted DAILY tournament, a player MUST COMPLETE at least 50 games, so his/her REAL rating must be set.
Right now, if the DAILY tournament is designed for <1400 at the end, the winners will be ranked at 1700>-1800>.
And that's not because these players have improved, but because THEY DON'T BELONG TO THIS TOURNAMENT.
So honest players have NO CHANCE of winning THEIR tournaments.
Sadly, admins from chess.com don't give a sh*t about it because we are not 'big names' but modest membership payers who simply love the game.

We care and chess.com does look at this; I know what you mean and it seems to happen in every chess.com tournament for daily.  The reason for this is likely that the players who are improving just keep on improving as the tournament is progressing, and this can even happen after 50 plus games have been played.

But are you suggesting that chess.com require that 50 games be played before playing in these tournaments?  If so, that might not be a bad suggestion.  It won't stop this from happening, but it might include less players.

Isn't it the case that when you create a tournament you can specify how many games a player must have played before they can enter? Maybe this option should be used more often.
I have created a tournament for which you must have played at least 10 games in "Daily" to participate

I'm talking about OFFICIAL tournaments. (Who cares about private ones.)
Players who have just begun playing in the "Daily" section get a "starting rating" of about 1000. This rule applies to everyone, even if the player's ACTUAL RATING is 2100 or higher. Sadly, some of those players are not fair, and they are entering official tournaments <1500. Just to have fun. (They must feel like a fox in a chicken coop.)
Official tournaments can attract up to a thousand participants who have no clue that among them, there are a few cheaters (the "new" guys) with a meager FAKE rating.
That's why it's essential that a player complete at least 50 games (maybe more) to participate in OFFICIAL tournaments and prove that his/her rating is not fake.
And don't worry; Fair rules will only make official tournaments more meaningful and attract more players (and $$).
