Two players daily tournament... Possible or not?

Hi! I was wondering: the settings available when creating a daily tournament do not allow to have fewer than 3 players in the "max players" field. But does anyone know if it's possible for the tournament director to start the tournament anyway if only two players are registered? Thanks!

I don't have an alt and that would defeat a bit the purpose. Basically I want to organize tournaments where the players from my club get invited based on their results. But in two of the categories only two players are eligible, so I'm wondering if this could still work or not.

Losing on purpose would be against the TOS BTW.

I've tried that and it doesn't allow a tournament to start with less than 3 players

I just tried to setup a max 3 players tournament and force start it with only two and I get an error indeed. Sad. Thanks all for the replies!
