When does the 15th November starts?

In my time zone we've got 15th November 10.11am now. I just were able to join the 70th Chess.com Tournament. So my question is, which time zone is the reference?

You can go into your settings and choose the appropriate time zone.

I think your problem happens because you chose the international flag, which has no assigned time zone reference.

I don't really know what happens when you choose the international flag. I am guessing that it chose to use Greenwich Mean Time or UTC as the zone for you.

If you chose an actual country flag, it would have an assigned time zone and tournament listings would be given for you in the time zone where you live. But many countries exist across more than one time zone, so you can also change the time zone setting.

Thanks mate for your answer! I've got no problem for myself because I've already signed in. I'm just curious and wanted to engage some of my friends to join it, so a precise time stamp would be good to know.
Another question I'm curious about: Well, this site relaunched in 2007, how comes it is already the 70th tournament for 3-days games?
That's an awesome achievement!

I think they run every 2 months. So the tournament would go back 140 months or almost 12 years.

Good luck.

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks!
