Why am I always black in tournaments?

So I just played 2 blitz tournments, 14 games total, and 13 games were as black. The 1 white game was the first game of the tournment.

Why is chess.com giving me a permanent disadvantage in these tournaments?

Does chess.com favor certain players over others?

You're not always black. On the 13th you played an arena where you were white 7/12 games.

As I understand it, the system currently gives the player more due black that color unless they are playing someone again, where they'll get the opposite color of the previous game.

Tournaments and arenas also don't have any different color allocation rules. So it's possible to get streaks of color be and be imbalanced over the short term. Over the long term it should trend towards even..

I know there work being done around color allocations to try and improve streaks from happening as often.

Found out there was an issue on arenas and that should be fixed. You should see better allocations now
