I love chess and am an over-the-board (OTB) player, too. I play here in order to improve analyzing skills and to practise favorite openings, especially with the black pieces. | I prefer turn-based ("Online") chess with a time control of 3-5 days per move. | I greet you on move one, but then I usually disable the _chat_ window and therefore I can't see anything you write. You can still send me direct _messages_, which I both read and answer, but it is not always a good idea to chat with the opponent until the game is over. I have gotten tired of it--there are so many centaurs and computers. I rather go and look for another place where people must play under their REAL names...
