Hi! I'm a linux server administrator by day and enjoy astronomy, cooking and jeet kune do as well as chess. Oh, and a huge political junkie too, seems when the tv is on, it's pretty much always msnbc lately, there's some kind of election happening. :-) I've gone thru periods of playing lots of games, almost every day, for a couple years, followed by a few more years of not playing at all. Getting back into it now thanks to this site, a move per day is just about right for me! It's really hard for me to analyze my own play because I usually don't have too much of a strategy, but I have found that I like to try a variety of openings, I keep saying I'm going to try more d4, and I generally like exchanges and looking for forks..
