Born in NY, a sports fan in general, I play chess because I love to think and strategize but also because it keeps my mind sharp.  I learned in my mid 30's and have been playing since.  My favorite openings are the Kings Gambit with white pieces and with black, I play French and Dutch attack, Volga Gambit and Dutch Stonewall.  

Please don't keep asking for a rematch if you lose twice, there are many, many players available to match.  If I lose, I won't ask for a rematch.
