I played club level chess and a few tournaments about 30 years ago . I never was very successful in tournaments. Now that I have retired I am working hard to improve my chess skills. My youngest son is a National class player and I greatly enjoy watching him play. Each day I improve a little. I have a long way to go but enjoy the challenge of the game.
