Learned to play in the 50's.Played extensively in the 60's and 70's. Ratings were harder to keep and could only achieve one 'norm' in all that time. Seems I out think myself and forget the original line. I don't see the game as 'armies' but as pressures applied against the opponent. Like d4 the best.
