I am originally from Italy but had been living in Singapore since 2005 where I am a university prof doing R&D in the game design and cybersecurity areas. 

I need time to play a (somewhat) decent game and I had some good results in correspondence chess years ago with a peak ICCF rating of 2222, but I am really terrible at blitz!

Fun fact: I did play Caruana once, many years ago (I let you guess how the game went... )
