I learned chess as a kid from my dad, and have only ever played very intermittently... until now. Trying to do something chess related every day... but there never seems to be enough time for that!?

I love this game, and I'm eager to improve.  I don't have an endgame in mind - I just like learning and improving, especially when the time is spent on a worthy endeavor such as keeping my mind sharp playing chess (my other "brainy" interest is learning French!).
