I'm retired from a technical career and currently enjoying my family and hobbies, which include some handyman work, water color art, guitar, violin and fishing. I have only occasionally played chess in the past and not very well. So to enjoy playing it and playing well are on my bucket list. This seems like a good way to do it. I think winning is a rush, but for me the fun of playing and learning are what keep me coming back.
