Started playing in 2004 at the age of 53. My chess is still hopeless, as can be seen on investigating any of my games or the state of my rating. Still we can't all open for England, but some of us have to uphold the tradition of beach cricket and Patzer chess. Live in Marple, Cheshire but work in Manchester.
Did play for a chess club, but family commitments have curtailed that pursuit for now.
