im from america, new hampshire to be specific, i love music, sports (especially the boston celtics), and beer. and yes, chess.
my favorite opening is 1. e4. as black i always used to respond with1. ... e5 but i am currently trying to become adept at the sicilian. i play chess because i see it mainly as a mental excercise. it makes me think and plan ahead, two things i dont do much in my regular life. ive never played in a tournament, but i would love to. it would be cool to gauge if i am actually any good. the player whose style i admire the most would have to be Paul Morphy. i love discovered attacks. not to alert anyone to my playing style or anything.
