Puzzle Week! Free Features Every Day, Puzzles World Championship, And More!
It's time to get your tactics on, as Puzzle Week returns for 2023, beginning on January 9. To celebrate, all of our 100 million-plus members will have unlimited access to Puzzle Battle and other puzzle features for the entire week:
- Monday: Puzzle Battle and unrated puzzles.
- Tuesday: Puzzle Battle and rated puzzles.
- Wednesday-Friday: Puzzle Battle and Puzzle Rush.
- Saturday and Sunday: Puzzle Battle.
If one of your goals in the new year is tactical improvement, it's a great opportunity to get started!
Additionally, puzzle-centered events will be held every day, culminating in the Puzzles World Championship on January 12-13 which will feature a $25,000 prize fund. (Registration details in the link.)

On Monday, this month's Chess Played Quick streaming event will entirely focus on puzzles. On Tuesday, join GM Jeffery Xiong as he streams Puzzle Rush on his Twitch channel. On Wednesday, WFM (and star photographer) Maria Emelianova will be taking on community members in Puzzle Battle on her channel.
Then comes the main event of the week, the Puzzles World Championship! The top eight finishers in the Puzzle Rush Royale on Thursday will move on to the Puzzle Battle KO on Friday. Tactics wizard GM Ray Robson will attempt to add to his status as a three-time Puzzle Battle champion. Can another puzzle solver finally stop him?
