Chess.com Releases New Endgames Feature
Chess.com users can now take their endgame skills to the next level using our new Endgames feature. Visit Chess.com/Endgames to learn and master all of the endgames you'll need to know to become an endgame virtuoso!
One of the easiest ways to get ahead of the pack is to study the endgames that your opponents neglect. Our new Endgames feature is the perfect way for you to master basic checkmates, king and pawn endgames, and the very common rook and king endgames. You'll also learn how to play minor piece endgames, queen endgames, and how to navigate endgame positions with imbalances.

Endgame Themes
The first thing you'll see when you go to our Endgames page are the different themes you can choose to learn and practice. You'll find the Checkmates, Pawn, Minor Piece, Rook, Queen, and Imbalances categories.
Inside each category, you'll find crucial positions that you need to learn to master each of the endgame categories.
Learning Endgames
You don't need to worry if you encounter a position that you don't know how to play. Under the Learning tab, you'll find a Chess.com lesson that will teach you everything you need to know to play that position with precision. From basic checkmates to advanced imbalances, there's an interactive lesson ready for you!
Practicing Endgames
After learning how to deal with a specific position, you can put your knowledge to the test using the Practice tab. You can choose any of the positions available and play it against the computer to perfect your technique.
Beat The Competition
If you feel like you're ready to challenge other players on their endgame skills, the Challenge tab is for you. You'll have a chance to play all the positions of any given theme against the computer while we time you. If you're fast enough, you might end up on our leaderboard!
