Chess.com is excited to announce the release of our newest feature for 
members: Insights. This new tool analyzes your games deeply and shows you where your best performances are and where you could improve. As ancient Greek wisdom states, knowing yourself is essential to living a happy and fulfilling life. Now, Insights can help you understand your chess better than you ever did before!
Here are a few of the things you can do with the Insights feature:
Identify Your Strengths
Let's face it: we all like to hear how great we are, especially when these flatteries are sincere. When you look at your Insights, you can find the moments and situations in which you shine—and rightfully feel proud about it.
Beyond self-satisfaction, that data can help you improve your results. Looking at your Insights, you can find out when you're at your best. Once you know when you perform better you can do everything in your power to reproduce these situations.
Let's look at some examples of the type of guidance Insights can give you. We'll look at different chess players and personalities as examples:
GM Hikaru Nakamura is truly the bullet king
Looking at GM Hikaru Nakamura's Insights, we can see that he truly is a bullet legend. Nakamura wins an impressive 76.6% of his blitz games and loses only 13.5% of the games he plays in that time control. However, his fast fingers really shine through when we look at his bullet stats: 84.2% wins and only 11.2% losses. Can you imagine winning eight out of every 10 games you play? If you can't, just watch his stream and you'll know what it looks like!
As you can see, looking at your Insights can help you to prioritize playing in time controls where you dominate!
GM Ian Nepomniachtchi loves wild chess
The world champion's challenger GM Ian Nepomniachtchi is a chess beast that thrives in wild, tactical games. Nepo's Insights show that his fame of being a fighting player is justified: his best performances come from wild games when he wins more than 60% of the time. He also rarely loses in sharp games, which is another mark of a great tactical player.
That type of information can also help you to improve your results. If you are a player like Nepomniachtchi, you should choose fighting openings that will lead to more tactical games. You can also use this data to guide your moves, preferring lines that lead to complications as opposed to a more defensive and solid approach.
Pinpoint Your Weaknesses
We all have strengths and weaknesses. You already know how to capitalize on your best traits using Insights, so it's time to learn how to reduce your debilities.

Although he's an excellent tactical player, working on this particular skill would help him catch up with other players on his level. Similar-rated players find more pawn, bishop, queen, and king forks than Danny.
Emphasizing forks during his next few tactical training sessions should give Danny an edge and help him get ahead of the pack!
What phase of the game should Danny work on?
Danny's opening theory seems to be on point, but it seems like he could improve on his middlegame, where his accuracy drops from 93.3 to 78.6.

There are few things as humorous and exciting as watching the beloved Botez sisters accidentally giving up their queen with no compensation. But exactly how many times have we had the chance to appreciate the beauty of a perfectly executed Botez Gambit? Let's take a look at WFM Alexandra Botez's Insights to find out:
Out of the 2,073 pieces she has hung, 146 (7%) were queens. The data indicates that Alexandra hangs her queen almost as much as she hangs her knights (172) and bishops (176). Although that is not the best news for poor Alex, her notorious queen blunders do grace us with hilarious clips. Thank you, Alexandra, for your noble sacrifice!

Have you noticed how GM Daniel Naroditsky consistently starts streaming late at night? Some might think it is just a coincidence, or that he understands his fans' Twitch watching habits better than anyone else.

Where should GM Robert Hess go on vacation next?
You can also take a look at your results against people from different nationalities.
GM Robert Hess' data suggests that seven out of 10 Chileans should fear him—he wins most of his games against players from the country, beating them 78.4% of the time. He also wins most games against Canadian (64.8%) and Spanish (63.7%) players. However, it seems like Hess is not ready to face the Norwegians (47.7%) and the Peruvians (30%).
Armed with this information, Hess can confidently plan his next vacation. Whether he chooses to enjoy some wine in Santiago or visit his neighbors to the North, Hess can relax knowing that he likely won't lose rating points.
