The 18th overall pick out of UCLA has become a fan favorite for the Miami Heat after making the 2024 NBA All-Rookie First Team. His love for chess runs deep - you might have seen him on the Collegiate Chess Podcast or read about his games against Tani Adewumi in the New Yorker.
As a part of his bot launch, Jaime played some chess and basketball with Levy “GothamChess” Rozman in Miami, which was captured by CloseUp360. Levy tells us he's "super excited about the Jaime bot on Chess.com. We’ve got several NBA players, and Jaime joins a really All-Star team." Jaime adds, "To get my own bot on Chess.com is something to check off my bucket list. I want to be a grandmaster, that’s my goal. One day I’ll get there."
