Live Now: Predict Computer Chess Championship To Win Cash Prizes
As the Computer Chess Championship moves into its next stage, an exciting new feature gives viewers the ability to predict each game's results to win cash and membership prizes. The championship will also be covered by a series of broadcast streams hosted by various Chess.com masters, including IM Lawrence Trent and NM James Canty on Twitch.tv/chess.

CCC 6: Winter Classic will begin its second stage this Sunday, Feb. 24, with the top 12 chess engines remaining in the tournament. Beginning in stage two, viewers can click the "Vote" tab before each game to predict a win for White, a draw, or a win for Black. Voters must make their selections during a two-minute period at the start of the game.
The top guessers by both volume and accuracy will win cash and membership prizes. See the full prize breakdown below.
CCC 6: Winter Classic, currently underway in stage one, will advance to the elimination stage this Sunday afternoon. The top eight-scoring engines in stage one will join four pre-qualified engines in a cascading round-robin format this weekend.
The pre-qualified engines were selected before the tournament for their strength and past performance:
- Stockfish
- Lc0
- Houdini
- Komodo
Joining these four championship-caliber engines will be eight challengers from stage one. While the stage is currently in progress, favorites to advance through to the next round are Fire, Lc0 (Antifish), Lc0 (Leelenstein), Lco-Dev and Ethereal.

Total prize pool: $1,000.

Most correct guesses (total):
- 1st place: $300 and a two-year Chess.com Diamond membership
- 2nd place: $150 and a one-year Chess.com Diamond membership
- 3rd place: $50 and a three-month Chess.com Diamond membership
- 4th-10th places: three-month Chess.com Diamond membership
Most accurate guesses (minimum participation 10 percent of all games)
- 1st place: $300 and a two-year Chess.com Diamond membership
