I am British, living in Kuwait, played chess for school, university and club, but gave up the game in my mid-twenties.
Then, after about 35 years, I was introduced to Chess.com and got hooked again, especially on the 960 game, which really suits me. But I got so hooked that I decided the only option was to give up Chess again. So I closed my account with the intention to stop playing completely.
However, after a few weeks break, I decided to return with a fresh attitude and strategy to avoid getting too addicted. So far it's working .........
And reflect on this:
Chess is only a game, but is life just a game ?
