The Bluenose Chess Club operated in Halifax for many decades before moving to its current location at NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College) in Dartmouth. Although the exact date that it was established is unknown, some of our club’s “lost history” has been recovered by David Kenney, an organizer of the club since 1974. Information about the history of our club since the 1960s is provided at the end of this post.
