GM Johan Hellsten, Sweden. Champion of my country in 2006. Some other good results: individual gold medal at the European Team Championship, Pula 1997, individual bronze medal at the European Team Championship, Gothenburg 2005, 1st place at Copa Entel, Santiago 2005.
As a coach, I helped Kevin Noboa towards a bronze medal at the World U18 Championship in Montevideo 2017.

I'm the author of the Mastering... series, available on Chessable: Mastering Chess Strategy (2010), Mastering Opening Strategy (2012), Mastering Endgame Strategy (2013) and Mastering Chess Defense (2023). I also have an opening book, Play the Sicilian Kan (2008).

Here on chess.com, I wrote the course Every Pawn Structure Explained (2021).

Since 2020 I have held numerous online lectures at the US Chess School, many of which can be found on Chessdojo's Youtube channel.

I also published some videos and articles on Chessmood.

Since 2022 I'm coaching at Magnus Chess Academy.
