I began playing chess when I was about 7 or 8 years old. My father would set up the board with half of his pieces removed, yet he would still manage to beat me! I vividly remember the first opening he taught me—the Scotch Four Knights. Over the years, I’ve continued to play and remain a devoted student of the game. A year ago, I discovered this wonderful site and, to my delight, found others who share my passion for chess. It’s rare to meet people in my current circles who enjoy the game as much as I do.

I also adore Andrea Bocelli—his voice fills my heart with joy and inspiration.
